River restoration at Crofton Woods

Luke (RSPB/idverde) and Debra (London Borough of Bromley) are hosting a public engagement evening to discuss proposed habitat creation works on the West Kyd Brook in Crofton Woods, with the objective of reducing flood risk with natural methods, filtering the water to reduce the impact of the sewage discharge point, and increase the wetland zones by the river to benefit rare plants, birds and bats. 31st March 2026 5pm - 7pm St James The Great Church, 283 Crescent Drive, BR5 1AY.
